Make this year's an alcohol-free season of graduation parties

If you're under the legal age of 21 to drink alcohol, don't do it.

If you're an adult inclined to provide minors alcohol, or willing to let them drink it in your home, don't even think about it.

Police are on the prowl, armed with new, quickie search warrants, looking for underage drinking parties to poop.

The reasons behind this crusade are known as well as the way-too-high rates of underage alcohol consumption in the Bay area.

In the spring season of busting out of high schools especially, far too many young people die or are injured in alcohol-related incidents, including traffic crashes.

Too many teens are indoctrinated into the sad rite of passage in these parts, that it isn't really a party until someone pukes.
