Party held on London's Tube ahead of alcohol ban on public transport

The alcohol ban came into force from Sunday on the Tube, London buses, Docklands Light Railway and tram services across the capital banning people drinking from, and carrying, open containers of alcohol.

The move is aimed at making travelling on London's public transport network a safer and more pleasant experience.

New London mayor Boris Johnson announced the measure earlier this month.
