Wells was taken to the Madison County Sheriff's Department in Edwardsville, where a breath test allegedly found he had a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.08 percent, the level that constitutes a legal presumption of intoxication in Illinois.Wells' driver's license was revoked at the time of his arrest because of two prior DUI convictions, which qualified him for the enhanced felony charges.The warrant was signed by Associate Judge Richard Tognarelli, who set bond at $25,000.NEW DOUGLAS - Jeffrey K. Crotty, 23, of the 1100 block of Adams Street in Staunton, was charged Monday in Madison County Circuit Court with a felony count of aggravated battery.About 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Madison County sheriff's deputies responded to the Dawg Haus Tavern, 102 S. Main St., New Douglas, in reference to a disturbance.
