Police Blotter

When the police officer approached him, Daly reportedly smelled of alcohol. When asked to step outside, Daly refused and stated he would not leave until he was given the cup of coffee he paid for, according to police. After he was removed from the coffee shop, Daly continued trying to go back inside, prompting police to arrest him.

A 19-year-old and a 20-year-old will appear in court on alcohol-related charges after they were spotted carrying a 30-pack of beer from a Powers Street home on May 24, police said.

The men proceeded to put the beer in the trunk of a car and when the officer asked the men their ages, one said he was 19 and the other said he was 20. When the men retrieved the beer from the car's trunk, one of the boxes was full, while the other two had a combined 15 cans of beer missing.
